Katherine Kalene Wuerch was born in Dallas Texas on October 3, 1972, the daughter of Letha May Grissom Wuerch and Wesley Norman Wuerch. After graduating from American High School, Chicago, Illinois, in 1989, she enrolled at Southwestern Assemblies of God University,
Waxahachie, Texas.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies for Teachers in April of 1993. She taught fifth grade at Gospel lighthouse Academy, Dallas, Texas, for one year, and taught fourth grade at Palmer Independent School District for three years.

During this time of teaching, she was awarded the Master of Science degree in Educational Administration in May 1996 from Dallas Baptist University, Dallas, Texas. In 1996 she began serving several administrator’s roles such as Elementary Assistant Principal, Middle School Assistant Principal, and Middle School Principal for five years from 1996 to 2001.

In 2002, she was admitted to the doctoral program at Texas A&M University – Commerce. She completed her superintendent certification in 2003, and she was employed as an instructor for elementary and
secondary methods courses for Southwestern Assemblies of God University from 2001 to 2004.

She was awarded the Doctor of Education degree with a major in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2005. She was employed as a fifth-grade teacher by the Waxahachie Independent School District in Waxahachie, Texas from 2004 to 2005.

In 2005 she became the Director of Curriculum for the Wylie Independent School District in Wylie, Texas. She was Adjunct Professor for Texas A&M University – Commerce from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2011, she facilitated the Wylie ISD Lamar University Master’s Degree program for the Wylie independent School District teachers. In 2011, she became Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Faith Family Academy Charter schools, Faith Family Academy of Oak Cliff and Waxahachie Faith Family Academy.

In 2012, she became a Rotarian and member of the Dallas North Rotary Club. From 2012 to 2014, Dr. Stover was President of the Club and helped start an Interact Clubs for Faith Faith Academy of Oak Cliff school and Advantage Academy Grand Prairie East high school.

In 2013, she became an educational independent consultant and business owner. In 2015 – 2016, she was Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Advantage Academy in Duncanville, Texas. From 2017 to present, Jarred Ray Stover and Katherine Stover reside in Sachse, Texas. She continues her educational consulting business, serves on the
Faith Family Foundation board, and is an active Rotarian and District 5810 trainer.
