P is perfected practice.  Instructional routines and procedures are perfected each practice.  Planning, presentation and performance demonstrate effectiveness and professionalism that experts in the field deliver consistently.

I is intentional and inspirational.  Every portion of teaching is focused and thoughtful.  Decisions are made based on the learner, the context, the content, the process and situation, including the learning environment.

C is clear.  Communication is confident, concise and understandable.  The learner is able to explain the purpose and intended outcome with clarity.

Jigsaw

What is it?

Jigsaw is a classroom activity that requires students to depend and learn from each other that builds cooperation and low preparation for teaching. Students are grouped into home teams and each member of the home team are assigned different specific topics that address the learning objective. Students then break into the specific topic groups and then become experts of the topic. The students master the concepts in their section and develop a strategy for teaching their findings with their home team. After students finish the learning in the expert group they return to their home team and teach their fellow peers about the specific topic as the expert.
